#AdanolaActive: Work on your abs whilst watching TV
Okay, so summer is fast approaching! It won't be long before our news feeds are clogged with bikini pic's and enviable abs *shifts uncomfortably in seat*. If you're not feeling quite bikini-ready and find yourself spending more time infront of the TV watching the latest series on Netflix than in the gym then we have the perfect workout for you! How does sitting on your sofa, watching tv and working on your abs all at the same time sound to you? ...We thought so! Keep reading to find out how!
20 Leg Swings
With your left foot on the floor, extend your right leg and flex your foot. Raise your leg up (creating an 'L' shape with your torso) and then lower. Continue for 20 reps on each leg.
20-count Raised Knee Holds
Sit forward and place your hands on the edge of the sofa in order to hold your balance. Raise your knees as high as you possibly and then hold for a count of 20.
20 Knees to Elbows
Sit forward on your seat with both feet lifted slightly off of the floor and raise one knee to the opposite elbow and then alternate for 20 reps each leg.
10 Raised Leg Twists
Sitting on the edge of the sofa, raise both legs - ankles together. Clasp both hands together and move from side to side. When your arms move to the right, your legs should move to the left. Repeat 10 times.
Sit forward and place your hands on the edge of the sofa. Raise both legs, waist width apart. Keep your legs straight and cross one foot over the other and then back to the starting position and then cross the opposite leg over the other. Repeat 10 times.
Repeat the circuit a further 2 times, resting for 2 minutes in between each circuit.
